Ayman Abdllah, 2025
My name is Ayman Abdallah, and I am proud to come from northeastern Africa, specifically Sudan 🇸🇩 I joined the Future Leaders programme through the entrepreneurship pathway — not the usual route — and at first, I felt shy and out of place. I soon realised I wasn’t alone in feeling that way. From the very beginning, it was inspiring to meet people from different countries, cultures, and languages.
A few weeks later, I realized that this was exactly the environment I had been searching for and that I had found something special — a place to support, share, learn, and grow. I completed the online program, and had the privilege of traveling to London for graduation. Meeting everyone in person for the first time was truly inspiring. We connected, shared stories, captured pictures, and created unforgettable moments I will always value.
This experience helped me build confidence, especially in public speaking — a skill that has become essential in my studies as an aviation student. Looking back, I’m so grateful for the people who supported me along the way and for the chance to be part of a diverse and encouraging community.
A few years ago, I felt lost emotionally, educationally, and financially. Today, I’m proud of how far I have come. With graduation approaching and an international aviation degree on the horizon, I’m excited for the future and thankful to everyone who has believed in me and supported my journey.
