Nasar, Future Leaders Graduate
At Dudley Hotel, near Clapham Park,
I find my haven, my peace, my spark.
Through my window framed by time’s gentle hand,
I glimpse a world where dreams can expand.
I am Nasar, an asylum seeker by fate,
From distant shores, I’ve come, bearing weight.
Yet, here in this room, with a view so vast,
The park reveals stories of a future unmasked.
The park gives me everything, in its quiet embrace,
A sanctuary of green, a tender, safe place.
Morning dew glistens, like diamonds at dawn,
Each blade of grass whispers hope, newly born.
Children's laughter, a symphony sweet,
Echoes of joy in each footstep and heartbeat.
Trees stand tall, guardians of peace,
Their branches sway gently, offering release.
Birds in flight, their freedom unbound,
A melody of life in the silence profound.
Flowers bloom, in colors bright and bold,
A testament to beauty, in stories untold.
In the park, I find more than just land,
A place where my spirit can finally expand.
The fears and the pain, the struggles I’ve known,
Fade into whispers, as peace has grown.
Here, I am not just a name or a case,
But a soul seeking solace, in this open space.
The park gives me everything, more than I could ask,
A reminder of strength, of hope in every task.
So, I sit by my window, and I dream once more,
Of a life full of promise, of an open door.
For in this park, near Clapham’s embrace,
I find my tomorrow, a world full of grace
